Impact Presentations is a training seminar for non-native English speakers who want to grasp how to effectively
present in English. Training content is mixed with theory and practice, includes exercises to improve pronunciation
and introduces participants to American culture. Even participants who can not speak English well, can learn many
skills in this seminar.

Participants learn over 2 days how to dynamically present slides in order to easily and effectively explain
their point. The techniques learned help participants create messages that persuade their audience.
Additionally, partipants acquire the suggestive skills to present within a defined period of time.
Each day's segment provides opportunity to receive instructor feedback and to actually acquire and improve the
skills to effectively present. Also, participants have the opportunity to learn how to present as part of a group.
The class provides immediate confirmation to participants through practical exercises.

Day 1
Segment 1:
Course Introduction and Planning
Participants choose one theme to use in the seminar. (It is suggested to use a work related topic.)
Segment 2:
Effective Power Point
Learn when and when not to use Power Point and tools for making your presentation more lively.
Segment 3:
Memory Techniques
Learn various techniques and tools for running a smooth presentation using practical exerices.
Segment 4:
Scenarios and Time Management
Learn how to effectively use time and plan the presentation. The seminar combines these elements focusing on situations, opposition and followup.
Participants can join the instructor for dinner on the first day
to discuss the days content to further strengthen their skills and ask additional questions.
Day 2
Segment 5:
Follow Up
Learn how to strengthen your presentation by following up after the
presentation. This segment includes discussions on how to follow up in American culture and create reasons
to allow for a follow up.
Segment 6:
Showing Presentation Material
Learn and practice skills for effectively ordering slides used in presentations
made by 2 or more people.
Segment 7:
Organizing Presentation Material
Participants review Segment 6.
Segment 8:
Individual/Team Presentations
Participants are given 20 minutes to present on their selected topic and receive
instructor feedback.

participants with a recording of their 20 minute presentation.
