Scheduling Policy

Minimum Monthly Committment

  1. There is a minimum 4 one (1) hour lesson commitment per month for private lessons. This is waived when the instructor can not commit to this frequency due to an extended vacation or other circumstance, or when stated in the contract.
  2. Payment must be received before lessons can be scheduled. Failure to pay prior to the beginning of the month may result in losing your requested time slot.

Lesson Duration

The duration of a lesson is stipulated in the contract. If no duration is recorded, then each lesson is 60 minutes in length. The duration of the lesson begins when the instructor arrives at the designated meeting place stipulated in the contract and ends after the contracted lesson time has passed. The total lesson time includes any of the following:
  1. Time waiting in line to purchase drink or food at a cafe or other meeting location.
  2. Time to process a student's payment if paid at the lesson.
  3. Time to set up anything required to conduct the lesson.
Students are encouraged to arrive at least 5 minutes earlier than their scheduled time to avoid any discrepancies between the student's and instructor's time keeping piece.

DUDULA Cancellation Policy

Private Lessons

We understand that from time to time you may need to rearrange your schedule. DUDULA is committed to providing the best learning environment while trying to accommodate your requests for changes in the lesson schedule. To accomplish this, please abide by the following rules:
  1. Cancellations must be made in writing and sent by fax or e-mail at least 1 week prior to the scheduled time.
  2. Cancellations made less than 1 week and more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled time can be rescheduled within 1 week of the cancelled session. Instructors will make every effort to accommodate a student’s requested date, but the student must accept the available time offered by the instructor. Available times are from 6:00 to 24:00. If the student does not accept the time, the student losses the session and no refund is made.
  3. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled time result in losing that session. No refund is available.
  4. Once a cancellation/change request is made, you can not be guaranteed the originally scheduled time if you cancel or change the new scheduled time.

Group Lessons/Seminars

The cancellation policy for group lessons and seminars is outlined in the DUDULA Group Workshop Registration Agreement . Please download this document and read the cancellation policy as outlined in sections 4 and 6.
